so i've been thinking about this old school idea for a long time
like since before twitter was a thing
before cupcakes were everywhere
before anyone knew what a 'beiber' was
(honestly i'm not sure we know that even now)
sometimes i would tell people about this idea
& there were certain friends that i would talk to about it a lot.
a.lot.
like i-know-i'm-talking-about-this-too-much-but-i-just-can't-stop a lot.
one day my friend, patient breanna* (not her real name)
(well, not her real full name)
said 'you should make a website or something to send people to so they can see your idea'
& i said 'you should mind your own beeswax!'
& then she punched me square in the nose.
no.
of course, i said 'how'd you get so smart?'
& she said 'i dunno'
& then we ate a cupcake (this was when cupcakes were just starting to be everywhere)
& then i made a website.
& then i was the only person that would go look at it.
for a little while.
& then i showed it to brian
(actually i emailed him the link before i left for a weekend away so that i wouldn't have to watch him look at it. that wasn't the reason i left. just perfect timing.)
& then i showed it to a few close friends who love me at my weirdest.
& then i waited a little while more.
& i now i want to invite you to go look at it!
i'm really excited about it
& excited to share it with you,
my blog friends who have been following along with my little story...
you should each add patient to the front of your name, just like breanna.
so click here
& then go click around...
have fun!
& thanks for sticking with me :)
oh & i would looooove to know what you think, honest abe
(man, everybody's got an adjective)
so please email me, or comment here, or on fb...
you know all those places where you can say what you think...
& if you know someone who you think might like to see the site
please share it with them, too.
we can't be stingy with these things...
thanks again, friends!
this next step is a good one :)
* breanna has a totally awesome business where she paints quotes with her own original artwork.
you should check it out too...
after you look at my site :)
